In 2000, Sulabh Public School became a member of Eco Club, under the Ministry of Environment, NCT Delhi. Since then, our school is actively participating in various programmes organized by the Ministry of Environment. The young members have taken pledge not to use non-biodegradable things for example plastic bags or polythene or shiny wrapping paper etc. On the occasion of Holi festival, natural colors were prepared and distributed to the students, to play Holi in a more conducive way. Related posters were displayed at Eco Club Meeting at Bal Bhawan, New Delhi. Students from Class VIII-X participated in nature’s trail at Asola Wild Life Sanctuary, Tuglakabad, New Delhi. On August 18th, 2010, 5 students of Class VIII participated in a training programme held at Sri Ram School, Vasant Vihar, in which they were made aware and learnt about the present day burning issues such as global warming, mercury – the slow poison, etc.

The club activities include Plantation Drive, Best out of Waste, promotion of paper bags, Say No to Plastics and crackers and much more.
