It is our pleasure that many visitors from India and abroad visit the Sulabh Campus to view Sulabh Public School and Vocational Training Centre to witness Hon’ble Dr. Pathak’s achievements to bring children from the down-trodden scavenger families into the mainstream of society. By providing them a good English-medium foundation and enabling them to intermingle, share their foods and perform ‘pujas’ with children of other castes, he has brought them on a par with children of the best public schools in the country.

  • On 22nd August, 2019, Ms. Swathi. M from UNICEF Wash Team, Ms. Joana Moledo from Global Interfaith Wash Alliance, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand and a group of 17 delegates (11 Chinese and 6 Indians) from Confederation of Young Leaders, New Delhi visited Sulabh Campus. The guests attended the morning assembly where they were extended a traditional welcome with scarf and introduced to the present Sulabh family. After that they were taken to the Sulabh Public School where they keenly observed the vocational training students busy in their work.
  • A group of 9 students from University of Toronto, Canada visited Sulabh international on January 17th, 2019.
  • Mr. Amit Shah, Mr. P. Chidambram vsisted Sulabh School and met students and inspired them.
  • Actor, Mr. Akshay Kumar visited Sulabh and spent a quality time with members.
  • In the year 2009-2010, Swedish Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Fredrik Reinfeldt and his wife Mrs. Filippa Reinfeld were accorded a warm welcome on November 6, 2009.

The Prime Minister interacted with the students of the Sulabh Public School and spent a lot of time preferring to mingle with the group of students, majority of who belong to families of liberated scavengers. He was quick to ask questions to the students and gave tips to them on various subjects, especially health and environment.

Hon’ble Mr. Timothy Roemer, former U.S. Ambassador and his wife Ms. Sally Roemer visited the Sulabh campus and met the children of Sulabh Public School. He shook hands with most of them, including children of the erstwhile untouchable families and from the families of higher castes and evinced keen interest in the welfare of the children.
The U.S. Ambassador summed up his two hour visit with these remarks: “I felt like part of the family here as we entered the gates and were greeted by all the beautiful smiles. As a representative of America I am proud of the values and ideals exhibited here – advancing technology, protecting the environment and improving equality and justice. We salute and honor the great people, progress and hope here in this effort and community. Congratulations and thank you for welcoming us to your successful enterprise, for equality and principles of which Gandhiji would be very proud.”

Hon’ble Mr. Jean M. Deboutte, Ambassador of Belgium to India, Nepal and Bhutan came to the Sulabh campus accompanied by Second Secretary, Mr. Jochen Anthierens, of the Embassy on December 21, 2009. He met the students of the Sulabh Public School. The Belgian Ambassador was impressed by the way the students were being imparted training in various crafts. After his visit he remarked, “The way Sulabh is looking after the children of the depressed classes is impressive. They are being imparted training not only in computer operations, but also typing, tailoring and embroidery. For a school meant for the children of the underprivileged, this is remarkable.”

Prof Rajmohan Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi and his wife, Mrs. Usha Gandhi visited Sulabh Public School in 2009 with students of University of Illinois, USA. Later, he remarked, “I do not have words for what Dr. Pathak, who is standing next to me, has achieved in his lifetime through his dedicated efforts.”

The Ambassador of Bhutan, Hon’ble. Jarier, Peru H.E. Paulmich and Thailand, Hon’ble. Pisan Manawapat recently visited the centre. Besides this, Hon’ble Mr.Jairam Ramesh, Union Minister for Rural Development, Drinking Water and Sanitization visited Sulabh campus on March 7th, 2012.

During summer vacation of 2013, students and teachers of Darlington school from Georgia (Atlanta –USA) visited school and a very good session of students interaction workshop held in the school campus for five days. Nearly 100 students participated and enthusiastically enjoyed “Learning by Doing”. Students of Sulabh Public Schools also visited Nepal with other school children as part of Sulabh School Sanitation Club Programme.

We were honoured when Miss Universe 2012-2013, Miss Olivia Francis Culpo visited us and enjoyed a lot with students of school on 28th September 2013.
