In response to the circular issued and in alignment with Sulabh Public School’s commitment to instill patriotism, respect, and awareness among students regarding the invaluable sacrifices of our nation’s brave soldiers, the school organized a series of activities dedicated to the theme “Gallantry Awardees.”
The initiative aimed to provide students with knowledge, inspiration, and opportunities to actively engage in creative and reflective exercises highlighting the courage and dedication of India’s heroes.
The program commenced with a Talk Show on Gallantry Awardees, where students shared researched information and engaging presentations on the lives of soldiers who were honored with gallantry awards. Their stories of bravery and sacrifice deeply inspired everyone present.
Following this, a Slogan Writing Competition, allowed students to express their patriotic sentiments through powerful slogans filled with pride, respect, and gratitude towards the armed forces. The best entries were displayed across the school campus.
A Poster-Making Activity, encouraged students to creatively portray the theme of bravery and sacrifice through artistic depictions of soldiers, national symbols, and patriotic quotes.
To provide experiential learning, a Visit to the Residence of Gallantry Awardees was organized. Students interacted with family members of awardees, listening to heartfelt stories that offered a real-world understanding of valor and the strength of military families.
The cultural aspect of the observance included Patriotic Songs and a Short Play, dramatizing the life and sacrifice of soldiers. The performances evoked pride and emotion among all.
Finally, a Patriotic Rally, extended the message of courage and respect beyond the school, as students marched with slogans and banners spreading awareness in the neighborhood.
The collective effort of the teachers and students ensured the program’s success. The activities fostered patriotism, discipline, and respect, inspiring the young minds of Sulabh Public School to emulate the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of India’s gallant heroes.
