On 12th August 2025, students of Sulabh Public School, accompanied by their teachers, actively participated in a cleanliness drive near the school gate as part of the ongoing Swachhata Abhiyan.
The initiative included cleaning the roads, filling mud in waterlogged areas to drain stagnant water, and collecting waste from the surroundings. Through the activity, students learned about the benefits of cleanliness and the harmful effects of unhygienic conditions. They were guided on practical steps to maintain cleanliness, both at home and in school, and on actions to avoid for protecting the environment.
As part of the drive, students also took a pledge to speak up against unclean surroundings wherever they encounter them — be it at home, school, or in public spaces — and to make every possible effort to keep their environment clean and well-maintained.
This initiative not only promoted environmental awareness but also instilled a sense of responsibility and civic pride among the young learners.
